Church History

The Cumberland Presbyterian Church of Booneville began through the leadership of the late Rev. H.H. Scrudder in 1941, and a building was erected on what is now the parking lot of same year. The church building we now worship in was constructed October 30, 1977. A new fellowship hall has just been completed, as of July 2009, on the north side of the building.

[And Jesus said,] "Come to me, all you that are weary and are carrying heavy burdens, and I will give you rest."
Matthew 11:28 NRSV
